During Marvel's press event at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, Marvel Studios announced that Chadwick Boseman will play the title character in Black Panther, with the actor himself joining Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. on the stage, just moments after the Captain America: Civil War title was confirmed.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige teased in a Q&A that followed the presentation that Chadwick Boseman will play a major part in Captain America: Civil War, which is confirmed to hit theaters on May 6, 2016
