Matthew Fox and Patrick Wilson have signed on to join Kurt Russell and Richard Jenkins in the indie Western Bone Tomahawk.

The story centers on a group of four men who set off on a rescue mission to save a group of captives from a tribe of cannibals who live on the edge of civilization. Patrick Wilson is playing a "thoughtful cowboy" whose life is interrupted by a tragedy, which hinders his rise to foreman in his cattle outfit. Matthew Fox is playing an unscrupulous gentleman with sinister plans.

S. Craig Zahler (The Brigands of Rattleborge, Air Guitar Nation) is directing from his own screenplay, with Caliber Media partners Dallas Sonnier and Jack Heller producing. They have also arranged financing through a deal with The Fyzz Facility's Wayne Marc Godfrey, Robert Jones and David Gilbery. No production schedule was given.

Matthew Fox most recently starred in Emperor and World War Z. Patrick Wilson will next be seen in Stretch.
