        @themoviefanatic I know, it should have a 100%! ;) No, but I would be happy with a 75% or a 80% at least.

          @gumperman Yeah, Man of Steel deserves a much better rating on rottentomatoes than 56% percent.

            @superman81 As much as I would love a JLA movie, I think they are going too fast. They have to introduce all members properly before getting the team together

                  @gumperman I think those ratings are the critics, IMDB user reviews are pretty high. Critics will never be happy with these films.

                    I'm glad MAN OF STEEL is making money and I'm glad a new Superman film is out and a wonderful one at that. SUPERMAN RETURNS was so disappointing and MAN OF STEEL brings me hope for this franchise again. I hope they make quality, thought out, action oriented, emotional sequels from here on out to help this wonderful tale live on and on. :) It does pain me though to look at the ratings for this film, 56% on Rotten Tomatoes, and then scroll down to see brain sewage like FAST & FURIOUS 6 get 76% from the same site. Are human beings really that idiotic? Or are morons the only film goers and critics we have left right now? Makes me sad for humanity and film for the future when I see numbers like that for suck a waste of cinema like the FAST & FURIOUS franchise. I know that Rotten Tomatoes isn't the know all and be all of the film rating system, but there are idiots out there that will look at that rating and think that that is what the film represents and it will generate negative feedback for a wonderful film that only deserves positive feedback and shouldn't be the target for web haters and trolls who only wanted this film to fail in the first place. Scrolling further down, I notice AFTER EARTH has a 13% from Rotten Tomatoes. I'm going to go hold my head in shame for film goers and humanity now.

                        @superman81 I think it's way to fast. If it was said MOS 2 was coming out 2015 and a JLA movie 2016 I'd thing ok that can work because they can film the two back to back. This could hurt the franchise big I think.

                          @arthurg09 yep WB announced this morning that MOS 2 will be out 2014 with JLA out 2015. MOS also made +18% more Sunday. It now has made 116m 3 day and 128.7m for 3.25 days since really Thursday should not count. That makes it bigger opening than Alice in Wonderland, Spider Man, and TS3. also makes it bigger opening than IM 2 and Shrek 2

                            MOS was a well thought out movie. It was not overly gimmicky, the downfall of many comic book movies. The writing was personal enough that it appeals to both genders weather their comic fans or not.

                            They have hinted at introducing either batman or Wonder Woman for the sequel. One of the Easter eggs in the movie makes it a strong possibility it will be Batman. Bale's Batman should not live in this is universe. They have an excellent opportunity to reinvent Batman within MOS without a new standalone Batman.

                            As for who plays Batman, Jensen Ackles is a great candidate. At 35, he is young enough to plat Batman for a few years. He has been on Smallville so he knows some superman mythology. In addition, he has voiced Red Hood in Batman: Under the Red Hood giving him a taste of Batman mythology as well. Most importantly, he can pull off portraying the c*cky Debag and the pretty boy at the same time.

                            I would love to see Wonder Woman, but the problem with Wonder Woman is the same problem Superman had for a long time the actors who played them. You think wonder Woman You think Linda Carter, and for a long time you think Superman, you think Christopher Reeves. That is why they need to go the route Amazing Spiderman. Go young and fresh.

                            During the credits of MOS 2, drop a hint of a disturbance in the Amazon. Then come with a Wonder Woman origin about her youth leading up to that disturbance. Start Justice League 1 with Superman and Batman going to the Amazon to explore this disturbance. The that young girl in her late teens early 20 who mirrors character traits of both Superman and Batman is the driving force of this disturbance. The two take her under their wing, together the fight off the Evil Villain and start the JLA. Each of the following movies you could add more heroes in the same fashion. For instance in JLA2 Aquaman is introduced as a member of SEAL team, thus taking Aquaman back to his Golden Age roots before he was retconned.

                              I read reports that they want to rush a MOS 2 movie, a batman reboot then a justice league movie by 2015 to catch up to marvel. And I truly think this is a bad idea. I'm a marvel movie fan but I have also seen MOS and like I said in my last comment MOS was a very good movie but to me and my son and many others it wasn't epic. To me it's a lot like batman begins and for me that's a good thing because that means a MOS sequel will be like TDK and that was the OMFG movie. And if it goes to MOS 3 it will be like TDKR and I hope that is how it goes. But if they rush it just to play catch up with marvel there going to F everything up. I say take your time get the story's right don't play catch up.

                                      @Kill-Bill I would go maybe TDK but only because Heath brought it but I know Avengers is a fun movie but its more overrated than Avatar. You like it and thats fine but if it hadnt made the money it did we wouldnt still be talking about it. I even have read several reviews saying this crushed Avengers and was better and that was even some reviews were the critics panned MOS

                                          @Chelaru-Marius MOS has not opened in all its markets yet. the ones it did open it broke records and exceeded expectations. Also you cannot compare MOS to FF6. FF6 was built on 5 other movies. MOS after the final numbers come out this weekend will probably the highest grossing non sequel comic book movie of all time eclipsing Spider Man. For a reboot, non sequel to make 125+ million is outstanding. With word of mouth I see this movie making 700+m WW
