    @h-ryuga I think its the demographic target and in some cases those movies have universal appeal (for the most part) with the exception of Twilight which was not only acted horribly but written very badly (as were the books) and directed sloppily. Even David Slade who rocked it with 30 Days of Night disappointed tremendously with his Twilight outing.
