Deadline is reporting that Skyfall is within $200,000 of Twilight. Looks like we won't know who will win this weekend until Monday afternoon.

@felipe-11 That's a fair assessment. It reminded me of a British crime film in that sense.

@dan1 Lol. That you did, my friend.

@ejk1 Yeah, that's about what I've been seeing as well. I wouldn't recommend it.

I feel like Red Dawn will make a little more than 5 mil. Hopefully Skyfall can beat 19 mil.

@thedude-abides I gotta say, some reviews were not great at the end. A lot of three stars out of five. Don't know if it's worth my dough.

@thedude1 For what it's worth I liked it. Just don't be expecting some The Departed/Goodfellas type thing. It's more about the characters than the story.

@thedude1 Yeah, me too. It was just sort of, blah. The first 20 minutes or so, I thought it was going to be awesome. Then it just tailed off. The jokes were no longer funny, the scenes were overly drawn-out, the dialogues were tedious to sit through, and the story itself was bland to say the least. Maybe you'll like it more than I did, but I was very disappointed.

Does it really matter? Come the 14th and all those numbers will drop digits

Yeah I think Skyfall will manage to come in first, but barely and I think Lincoln has a outside chance of beating Twilight.

                            1. Skyfall: 17 million

                            2. Twilight: 16 million

                            3. Lincoln: 16 million

                            4. Rise of The Guardians: 13 million

                            5. Life of Pi: 13 million

Killing Them Softly doesn't even deserve to be on here... Such a waste.

Skyfall may pull out ahead in the end. But I give the edge to Twilight. But not $25 million. More like $17 or $18.

I'm going with the upset call here. Skyfall over Twilight. It will be very close(about a million dollars or so) but Skyfall will win in the end.
