Brad Pitt is now and has been one of the biggest movie stars on the planet for a very long time. Though he can do a low key drama as well as anyone, he is actually quite the big action star in his own right between his work in various war films and heist films like Fury or Ocean's Eleven. Well, now Pitt can add real life hero to his resume, right alongside Sexiest Man Alive.

Recently while filming on the set of his latest film Allied, Pitt managed to step in and save a little girl from what could have been a really bad situation. During the filming of a scene, a large crowd of fans had gathered by some fencing to try and get a glimpse of the production, and unfortunately a little girl was starting to get crushed by the large amount of people. Lucky for her, Pitt noticed and stepped in to take care of it and lucky for us, somebody caught the whole thing on video which has since surfaced on YouTube.

The video was shot by a fan on the location of the World War II drama film set in the Canary Islands. As we can see in the video, the crowd was understandably very enthusiastic to see Brad Pitt, as most of us would be. The problem is that once they start getting one another riled up, they begin pressing the girl up against the fence. She becomes scared and is clearly in pain. Pitt springs into action and runs over so he can pull her over the fence and get her out of the situation, which could have got a whole lot more ugly.

Not only did Pitt rescue the girl from the rowdy crowd, but he also took a good amount of time and care to comfort her. The girl was crying and the actor was rubbing her shoulder in order to calm her down before taking her to some of the other people on set in order to check her out and make sure she wasn't seriously injured. Even though the crowd was responsible for what happened to the girl, Pitt was still courteous enough to give his feverish fans one more wave before taking the girl away from the situation completely.

Though it is really nice to see Pitt doing the right thing and him saving the girl makes for a nice story, it is a little hard not to get upset with the crowd for not noticing the girl was in trouble. In the end, the girl was fine thanks to Angelina Jolie's other half and this became a sweet story instead of a very tragic one. Allied is set to hit theaters this November with Marion Cotillard and Lizzy Caplan starring alongside Pitt. The film is being directed by Robert Zemeckis.
