The Man from U.N.C.L.E. may have finally found its lead role in Bradley Cooper after Matt Damon, Johnny Depp, and George Clooney pass on the opportunity. The actor is in talks with Steven Soderbergh to star in Warner Bros. spy film.

The plot revolves around two agents for the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement - Solo and his Russian counterpart, Illya Kuryakin - saving the world from the evil forces of THRUSH. They were agents of United Network Command for Law Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.) who fight the forces of Technological Hierarchy for the Removal of Undesirables and the Subjugation of Humanity (T.H.R.U.S.H.).

The script was written by Scott Z. Burns.

The movie is expected to go into production early next year.
