Music video and commercials director Brian Beletic has signed on to make his feature directorial debut with the Untitled Disney Mountain Project. We first reported on this project back in June, when it was believed to be based on the Matterhorn theme park ride. This new report reveals the project is not related to the ride. It was previously known as The Hill, but there is no official title as of yet.

Jason Dean Hall is writing the script, which is set in the Pennine Alps where the real Matterhorn is located. The story revolves around a group of thrill-seeking adventurers who head to the alps for skiing, snowboarding, and mountain climbing. Along the way, they discover a deadly mountain secret, fighting for their lives against a covert organization, not to mention the harsh conditions.

Justin Springer (Tron: Legacy) is producing the Untitled Disney Mountain Project. No production schedule was given.

Brian Beletic has directed ads for Nike, Addidas, Converse, Ikea, and has directed music videos for Cee-Lo, The Black Eyed Peas, and Fatboy Slim.
