Brie Larson (21 Jump Street) has joined the cast of actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut, Don Jon's Addiction.

The story centers on Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character, a porn-addicted lothario who goes on a quest to better himself, after meeting a recently widowed woman (Julianne Moore) at night school. Brie Larson will play the title character's sister. Scarlett Johansson, Tony Danza, and Rob Brown also star.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is directing from his own original screenplay, with Ram Bergman (Looper) producing alongside Nicolas Chartier. The project was financed through Nicolas Chartier's Voltage Pictures.

Principal photography is nearly finished, although no release plans were announced at this time.
