Now that Pitch Perfect stars Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson finalizing their deals to return for Pitch Perfect 2 earlier this month, Brittany Snow has also ben confirmed to reprise her role as Chloe from the original.

Elizabeth Banks, who we reported last month is making her directorial debut on the sequel, is also co-starring as Gail. Pitch Perfect writer Kay Cannon wrote the sequel script, although no story details have been released thus far. Elizabeth Banks is also producing alongside Max Handelman and Gold Circle's Paul Brooks.

It isn't known when production will begin on this highly-anticipated sequel, but with the cast coming together so quickly, it's possible that shooting could begin in the relatively near future. We reported last month that Universal Pictures handed out a May 15, 2015 release date for this follow-up.

The original comedy followed a young college student (Anna Kendrick) who helps turn around an a cappella singing group, leading them into the finals of a big competition. It isn't known yet if other stars from the original such as Skylar Astin, Ben Platt, Anna Camp and Alexis Knapp will be back or not.
