Earlier this month, Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston responded to rumors that he is in contention to play Lex Luthor in Batman vs. Superman, a.k.a. Batman vs. Superman. Since then, a new rumor surfaced that he had already signed on for a six-picture deal to play Lex Luthor for Warner Bros. When asked about these new developments in a recent interview, the actor debunked that rumor.

"Six? This is all news to me. I think that maybe my name is bandied about because I'm known to be bald. 'What bald guy can we get?' The reality is they can take any actor and shave his head or put a bald cap on him."

The rumor rumor claimed that Mark Strong is likely going to reprise his Green Lantern role as Sinestro in Batman vs. Superman, and that Ben Affleck's deal to play Batman is for a whopping 13 movies. Neither of these news items have been confirmed by Warner Bros.

Zack Snyder is directing Batman vs. Superman from a script by David S. Goyer. Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill (Superman/Clark Kent), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent) are reprising their roles.
