At 72 years old, legendary director Martin Scorsese is still churning out hits, with his last film, The Wolf of Wall Street, earning over $392 million worldwide and earning five Oscar nominations, including Best Picture. The filmmaker recently wrapped production on his next film, Silence, starring Liam Neeson, Andrew Garfield and Ken Watanabe, which hits theaters next year. Fans can see him in front of the camera in the new thriller Campus Code, which is currently available through Digital HD and VOD platforms such as Amazon, Google Play, iTunes, Vimeo, VUDU, and Xfinity as well as On Demand with Charter, DirecTV, Verizon and Vubiquity. Today we have an exclusive clip that helps set up this unique plot, while showcasing Martin Scorsese's cameo.

After Ari (Jesse McCartney) falls from a 13-story building and walks away without a scratch, a group of students begin to sense something is amiss on their college campus. On a quest to find answers, they are forced to battle guards, "Griefers," and, at times, each other in order to survive unknown entities that are looming. The group must team up and fight together before they are terminated from their otherworldly campus. Our exclusive clip takes place just after Ari's fall, with Martin Scorsese playing the doctor who treats him at the hospital.

Martin Scorsese is certainly no stranger to acting, with 31 film and TV credits to his name including roles in his own films such as Taxi Driver and Raging Bull, along with Quiz Show and Guilty by Suspicion. He even played himself in episodes of HBO's Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Still, one might think it's strange for an esteemed filmmaker like Martin Scorsese to take on a cameo role in a low-budget indie film. There is a perfectly good reason behind his Campus Code cameo: the film was produced and co-directed by his daughter, Cathy Scorsese.

Along with smaller roles in her father's films The King of Comedy and Casino, Cathy Scorsese has often worked behind-the-scenes on several of his productions. She has worked as a prop master on Casino, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island and HBO's Boardwalk Empire, which her father executive produced. While we don't see him in this clip, Campus Code also features another notable cameo appearance from Ray Liotta.

Cathy Scorsese directs alongside Kenneth M. Waddell, with a supporting cast that includes Hannah Hodson, Alice Kremelberg, Conor Leslie, Jack Falahee, Ritesh Rajan, Chris Cafero, Jay Devore, Jessica Alexandra Green and Joe Ferraro.
