A few weeks ago, we showed you a first look at Iron Man's new armor, which he will debut in Captain America: Civil War. We have another look at the costume, courtesy of leaked promo art. If this latest rumor is correct, Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark will be wearing the iconic Bleeding Edge Armor, also referred to in the MCU as Mark 46 (or Mark XLVI) Armor. As you can see, there have been a few modifications since we last saw Iron Man in this summer's Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The Marvel comics upon which the movies are based depict Tony Stark using his Bleeding Edge armor to take down both Thor and The Red Hulk. Oddly enough, Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo are the only two Avengers not returning for this next franchise sequel. The suit itself is compared to a 'man-made' star, and consists of a thousand tiny nano-bots controlled by Stark himself. No confirmed details have been released about the suit, so it is not yet known if it will also be created from Stark's latest nano technology or who it will be used to stop.

Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
