In the two years after Kristen Stewart last played Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, the actress has taken on a number of diverse indie projects such as On the Road, Camp X-Ray and the critically-acclaimed Still Alice, which opened nationwide last weekend. During an interview with Yahoo! Movies, the actress expresses her desire to star in a superhero movie some day. Here's what she had to say, revealing she would love to show her fans a different side of her acting abilities by joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe:

"I love watching those movies. I would love to show people that I can do more than just be 'Kristen Stewart' in a different movie, in a different circumstance."

She does have experience in the big-budget action realm, starring in 2012's Snow White and the Huntsman before the final Twilight movie. She adds that her experience with that project could help land her a superhero movie, and that she is already eyeing the Captain America franchise.

"I'm sure I could get on board with Captain America, you know what I mean? It would just have to be the right thing."

The next installment of the Captain America franchise, Captain America: Civil War, will start shooting later this year, but it isn't known if she is eyeing a part in that adventure, which will kick off Marvel Phase Three. Other possibilities for the actress to consider could be 2018's Captain Marvel or Inhumans, but it isn't known if she is actively seeking a role in any of these projects.
