With the recent 3D boom that is sweeping Hollywood, it seems that Marvel Studios isn't keen on 3D conversions, but they are considering 3D for future film projects. The Los Angeles Times recently spoke to Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige, who revealed that they will be using 3D in the near future.

"The team has been doing a lot of research into 3-D processes, and we're looking at it on future films when we have the time," he said. "We will be doing it at some point."

The site speculated that, while Thor is currently in production, it is possible that the studio's next two film projects - Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers, both of which haven't started filming yet, could be shot in 3D.
