When Marvel released the full cast list for Captain America: Civil War back in May, many fans were surprised to learn that Ant-Man himself, Paul Rudd's Scott Lang, was coming aboard. The announcement made much more sense just a few months later when Ant-Man hit theaters, after Scott Lang had a confrontation with The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) at the new Avengers facility, along with the end credits sequence when it was hinted Falcon and Captain America would call upon Scott to help them free The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). While it may be quite some time before we see a full trailer for Captain America: Civil War, Comic Book Movie has uncovered leaked promo artwork, which reveals Ant-Man's new costume. We also get a look at the new War Machine armor and a fresh look at Black Panther.

Both the Ant-Man helmet and suit are given an upgrade in this promo artwork, which appears to have a more aerodynamic design than the original suit, designed by Hank Pym. Aside from this image, we don't have any other details about this suit, or if Scott actually designed this himself. Given the massive cast of Captain America: Civil War, it isn't known how large a role Scott Lang will have in this superhero adventure, but at least we know he'll be fighting with a new suit. These leaked promo photos also feature a slew of other heroes such as Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and The Winter Soldier.

The Captain America: Civil War plot picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Other confirmed cast members include Paul Bettany as The Vision, Don Cheadle as Jim Rhodes/War Machine, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, William Hurt as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross and Martin Freeman in an unspecified role. Production wrapped in late August, with Marvel setting a May 6, 2016 release date. Captain America: Civil War will be the first in Marvel's massive Phase Three, which includes nine movies spread out over three years.

Joe Russo and Anthony Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) are directing from a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The directors and writers will then move on to the epic Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Avengers: Infinity War - Part II. Check out these leaked photos, and stay tuned for more on Captain America: Civil War.
