Though Captain America: The First Avenger will hit theaters in just a few months, on July 22, it seems U.K. reshoots will be happening in a few weeks.

A Marvel press event recently took place in New York City, where the legendary Captain America shield was on display. A Marvel staffer revealed that the shield was actually used in the movie and is now being sent back to the United Kingdom for reshoots.

While reshoots aren't an uncommon happening, they sometimes may indicate that there is trouble with the production. It isn't clear if the studio is unhappy with the current cut of the film, or if the reshoots are just simple tweaks to the movie.

Captain America: The First Avenger wrapped production in October 2010. It isn't known if these reshoots will have an effect on the July 22 release date yet.
