‘Casino Royale’ Gets a New Special Edition on October 21st

Bond is coming back and better than ever in a brand new set. Casino Royale will be coming back to DVD and Blu-Ray on October 21. We have no pricing details or cover art, but we'll update this as soon as we have more information. The film stars Daniel Craig, Eva Green, Mads Mikkelsen, Jeffrey Wright and Judy Dench.

Casino Royale introduces James Bond before he holds his license to kill. But Bond is no less dangerous, and with two professional assassinations in quick succession, he is elevated to "00" status. "M" (Judi Dench), head of the British Secret Service, sends the newly-promoted 007 on his first mission that takes him to Madagascar, the Bahamas and eventually leads him to Montenegro to face Le Chiffre, a ruthless financier under threat from his terrorist clientele, who is attempting to restore his funds in a high-stakes poker game at the Casino Royale. "M" places Bond under the watchful eye of the Treasury official Vesper Lynd. At first skeptical of what value Vesper can provide, Bond's interest in her deepens as they brave danger together. Le Chiffre's cunning and cruelty come to bear on them both in a way Bond could never imagine, and he learns his most important lesson: Trust no one.

K, so I have updated your info...

Up top there it says: "Casino Royale Gets a New Special Edition on June 3rd...but we have no details on pricing as of yet." I proved that that information was wrong - as has been recently announced. October 21, 2008 and $29.95. Also, there seems to be more special features other than what you have listed. I see this is from March 2008. Time to update!!! I can give you more sites to back this info up, if you want. Check all my comments below.

And the cover art, which will be the teaser poster:

More special features are on it, too, check it out. I would have posted the image for the cover, but it's not linked.

It comes out Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - just in time for Quantum of Solace. And it's called "Casino Royale - Collector's Edition."

I knew there was a reason I didn't buy the standard DVD back in 2006. I wanted an Ultimate Edition DVD, guess this is as close as it gets. Cool.
