Charlie Sheen's recent troubles have reached their crescendo with the actor being fired from CBS' long-running and very popular Two and a Half Men today.

CBS and Warner Bros. Television issued this short but eloquent statement.

"After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on Two and a Half Men effective immediately.

At this time, the series future has not been decided. Though a ratings powerhouse for CBS, without Charlie Sheen, it is unlikely that the hit sitcom will return in the Fall. Which opens Angus T. Jones up for the long gestating Back Dick movie.
