"Those who seek the truth will be silenced." The riveting Stalin-era crime thriller Child 44 will be hitting theaters this spring, and we have a powerful new poster. Based on the best-selling novel by Tom Rob Smith, this serial-killer drama follows a series of real-life child murders committed in 1953 Soviet Russia, during a supposedly "ideal" Communist state. The star-studded cast includes Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace and Gary Oldman as their quest for justice threatens a system-wide cover-up.

Child 44 chronicles the crisis of conscience for secret police agent Leo Demidov (Tom Hardy), who loses status, power and home when he refuses to denounce his own wife, Raisa (Noomi Rapace), as a traitor. Exiled from Moscow to a grim provincial outpost, Leo and Raisa join forces with General Mikhail Nesterov (Gary Oldman) to track down a serial killer who preys on young boys. Their quest for justice threatens a system-wide cover-up enforced by Leo's psychopathic rival Vasil (Joel Kinnaman), who insists "There is no crime in Paradise."

Charles Dance, Jason Clarke, Vincent Cassel, Sam Spruell, Paddy Considine and Nikolaj Lie Kaas round out the supporting cast for this thriller directed by Daniel Espinosa (Safe House, Easy Money), which hits theaters on April 17.
