Just yesterday we reported that Ben Kingsley and Sacha Baron Cohen were in negotiations to star in Martin Scorsese's new film and it seems the director has found two more actors as well. Deadline New York is reporting that Chloe Moretz (Kick-Ass) and Asa Butterfield (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas) have been set as the leads for The Invention of Hugo Cabret.

Butterfield will play the title character while Moretz will play the female lead character of Isabelle. The site is also reporting that the film will be distributed by Sony Pictures, through producer Graham King's GK Films' deal with the studio.

The film is based off the children's book by Brian Selznick which tells the tale of Hugo Cabret, a young boy living within the walls of a Paris train station and gets caught up in an adventure when he tries to repair a mechanical man. John Logan adapted the book for the silver screen.

No production schedule was released for the film.
