Parks and Recreation star Chris Pratt has joined the cast of the comedy remake Starbuck for DreamWorks Pictures. We reported back in May that Vince Vaughn signed on to star.

The story centers on a middle-aged man (Vince Vaughn), who learns he fathered 533 children through sperm bank donations. He must decide whether or not he wants to meet hundreds of his "kids," when they come forward, seeking their father's true identity. The title refers to the nickname he donated sperm under. Chris Pratt will portray Starbuck's lawyer, who has children of his own.

Ken Stott, who wrote and directed the original Starbuck, will direct from his new screenplay, tailored towards American audiences. André Rouleau is producing, with Scott Mednick, Ray Angelic, and Mark Sourian serving as executive producers.

Production is scheduled to begin later this year. It isn't known how this project will affect his role as Andy in the upcoming season of Parks and Recreation.
