Christian Bale Eyes ‘A Star Is Born’ and ‘Oldboy’

Christian Bale considering A Star Is Born and the Oldboy remake Actor Christian Bale is currently shooting The Dark Knight Rises, which is slated for release on July 20, 2012. While it seems certain that this will be Christian Bale's last movie as Batman, it is uncertain which project he will tackle after The Dark Knight Rises wraps in the fall.

Projects such as A Star Is Born, the Oldboy remake, Out of the Furnace, and Gold have reportedly piqued the actor's interests, though.

Christian Bale will not decide which project to take on next until The Dark Knight Rises finishes shooting in November. We reported back in June that Noah is another potential starring vehicle for Christian Bale, along with an untitled Terrence Malick project which we reported on last week.

Christian Bale is not officially attached to any of these projects yet. Back in April, we reported that the actor was circling a role in The Last Photograph, although he has since left that project.

We'll continue to keep you posted on any developments regarding Christian Bale's future movie slate, although it seems we won't know anything for certain until November.

A Star Is Born comes to theaters in 2017.

Oldboy was released November 27th, 2013.

Out of the Furnace was released December 6th, 2013.

Gold was released in 2015.
