On Friday, I had the chance to visit the set of the upcoming comedy The To-Do List (formerly known as The Hand Job). One of the stars of this new comedy is Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who also talked about his upcoming projects Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall and Fright Night. First off, the actor talks about returning as Red Mist, and that he would like Eli Roth to direct the sequel.

"I talked to Matthew and he's like, 'I don't know if I would ever direct it, but I would definitely be on board to produce it.' And I've thought, Eli Roth would be such a cool director for this. Or someone who hasn't done a comic book movie but gets horror 'cause it's very violent. Very bloody. But Chloe's working up a storm, man. She's non-stop. So, who knows if we'll ever do it? I know I would love to, and I think Aaron would love to. I'm sure Chloe would, but we're all just kind of busy right now."

We reported back in January that Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall will not be Matthew Vaughn's next project. Now it seems he won't direct the sequel at all.

The actor also talked about the horror remake Fright Night, which hits theaters on August 19. Christopher Mintz-Plasse talked about his experience on the remake, and the extensive makeup work which had to be done for his character.

"I was in my makeup chair for four hours every morning, which is a pain in the ass. I was so stoked when I got cast. People who know Fright Night, my character turns into a vampire, as you know. I was just so stoked, I'd never gotten to do that before. I was like, 'I'm gonna look so badass.' They gave me the contacts to keep, so I've got my next Halloween costume already in order."
