Warner Bros. president Jeffrey Robinov shot down a report from last month that revealed Christopher Nolan is developing the superhero ensemble Justice League, with The Dark Knight Rises star Christian Bale returning as Batman. Here's what the studio executive had to say, when asked if the rumor was true.

"No, no it's not."

Christopher Nolan's representative also confirmed Jeffrey Robinov's statement, revealing that he is solely working on his new sci-fi thriller Interstellar.

The studio executive also teased a big announcement that is coming in the next few weeks, in regards to their DC Comics superhero movies.

"We'll announce something in the next several weeks that will hopefully position the DC characters and the movies we're going to be making."

When asked if Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy stands alone in this universe, the executive gave an intriguing response.

"They do. Or they did. Where we go in the future is a whole other conversation."

Earlier today, we reported that Man of Steel producer Charles Roven teased that his Superman movie will set the tone for movies such as Justice League and other DC Comics movies.
