Batman: According to Variety, Cilian Murphy, who recently starred in Girl with a Pearl Earring has landed the role of one of the caped crusader's enemies in the new Batman film, directed by Chris Nolan.

The film stars Christian Bale as 'Batman', and according to yesterday's news, the studio is eyeing Katie Holmes for the role of the love interest in the film.
