We reported back in February that a trio of actors were signing onto a new British film and it seems one actor has left the project to be replaced by another. Deadline New York is reporting that Cillian Murphy has signed onto the new film Retreat.

Our earlier report indicated that Jason Isaacs and Thandie Newton would portray a husband and wife who are terrorized by a military man (David Tennant). This new story reveals that Murphy will be portraying Newton's husband.

The story follows the couple, as they get away to an island cottage, set on repairing their marriage, when Tennant's character comes along, telling them that everyone on the mainland was killed by a new airborne virus.

Carl Tibbetts is directing the film from a script he co-wrote with Janice Hallett. No production schedule for the film was released.
