Untitled Truman Capote feature: According to The Hollywood Reporter, United Artists is pushing forward with its untitled Truman Capote feature, tapping Clifton Collins Jr. for a starring role.

Philip Seymour Hoffman is already on board to topline as Capote in the project based on the book "Capote: A Biography" by Gerald Clarke. The film concentrates on the period when Capote was writing "In Cold Blood," his so-called "nonfiction novel" published in 1965 about the murder of a Kansas family. Collins will play Perry Smith, a man who is in jail for murder and whose story attracts the attention of Capote. The two form an intense friendship that extends until the day of Smith's execution.
