Natalie Portman recently revealed some interesting information about the long-gestating adaptation of Cloud Atlas, which was overlooked upon her insistence that she knows nothing about appearing in either Superman or The Dark Knight Rises.

Tom Tykwer was originally set to direct the David Mitchell tome, with Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski producing. Now though, according to Portman, all three will be collaborating as director.

Here is what the Black Swan and upcoming Oscar co-host had to say on the matter:

I don't know what's going on with financing. I read it while doing V For Vendetta, and I gave it to (Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski) and to Tom Tykwer. Now they're directing it together, the three of them. I will have some acting role in it if it happens, but probably nothing major."
