Columbia Has ‘Generation Gap’

According to Variety, Neal Moritz's Original Film and Benderspink are producing Generation Gap, by Yoni Berkovits, for Columbia Pictures. Pic concerns two young cops, who stumble upon crucial evidence that reopens an old case and must turn to their fathers, retired partners on the force who failed to crack the very same case.

Berkovits wrote the comedy Nothing but the Truth, starring Carmen Electra, in post at New Line.

Original is in production on Gridiron Gang, starring Dwayne The Rock Johnson, at Columbia, and is prepping The Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo at Universal.

Benderspink produced DreamWorks' upcoming thriller Red Eye, directed by Wes Craven. Shingle recently wrapped New Line's A History of Violence, directed by David Cronenberg and starring Ed Harris and Maria Bello.
