20th Century Fox has found a unique way to bring their superhero blockbuster X-Men: Days of Future Past to Comic-Con 2014, teaming with Oculus Rift for a virtual reality experience to promote the Blu-ray and DVD release on October 14. Fans will be able to use the Oculus Rift headset, which isn't available to the public yet, to simulate the Cerebro technology created by Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and hunt down Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence). This 360-degree, 90-second virtual experience will be available for fans to try out at 20th Century Fox's Comic-Con booth, where fans will get to sit in a replica of Professor X's wheelchair. Each experience will be recorded for fans to share on their various social media platforms. Patrick Stewart himself will narrate the interactive film.

20th Century Fox will also be selling limited edition Blu-ray copies that includes X-Men: Days of Future Past and all of the previous X-Men movies in packaging shaped as a replica of the Cerebro helmet.

The Oculus Rift technology will also be on display at Comic-Con for the hit Fox series Sleepy Hollow for an interactive experience at Petco Park that transports fans to the fictional town portrayed in the show.
