Craig Gillespie to direct horror comedy remake Craig Gillespie is set to direct DreamWorks' remake of the horror comedy Fright Night.

According to Variety, Marti Noxon is writing the script for Fright Night. The 1985 original revolved around a teen who finds out his neighbor is a vampire.

No production date has been set.

Fright Night was released August 19th, 2011.

    Can't wait to see this re-make. I'd like to see Hugh Jackman as Jerry Dandrige and maybe Patrick Stewart as Peter Vincent.

      The original is brilliant. They better not screw it up. Malcolm McDowell, should play the role of Peter Vincent.

        I've seen one of his films, he might be good at this since this is a vampire film.

          he did lars and the real girl, and mr woodc*ck, both of which were reasonably enjoyable.

            i like the original one hope the remake is good...but i doubt it only if done right i mean its good to see this movie being brought to a morden audiuce so i guess this could work if u havent seen the original.
