Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof has signed a lucrative seven-figure deal to write a secretive sci-fi project for Disney, which is only known as 1952. It is said that 1952 is also being eyed as a multi-platform project which would expand beyond the movie.

This will be Damon Lindelof's first solo movie project as a writer/producer. He co-wrote and produced the 2009 blockbuster Star Trek alongside Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. The trio also wrote and produced Jon Favreau's upcoming summer movie Cowboys & Aliens. Damon Lindelof also reworked Ridley Scott's Alien prequel into what is now entitled Prometheus.

Damon Lindelof will likely start work on 1952 after he finishes the Star Trek 2 script with Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman.

No production schedule was given for 1952 at this time.
