Production recently began on Lincoln, director Steven Spielberg's biopic on America's 16th President, Abraham Lincoln. Actor Daniel Day-Lewis was spotted inside a Richmond, Virginia restaurant having lunch, and this new image features the actor sporting his Presidential facial hair for the role.         Never doubted he would be good in the part (he is one of the greatest actors of our time) but surprised how much he LOOKS the part...if that makes sense.

                  Although, ha! The title of this article is a little misleading. Presumable Lincoln's "costume" in the film will not be blue jeans and sneakers.

                    Totally immersed in character, as usual. DDL is one of those actors you barely recognize when he's just being himself because he embodies his characters so completely.

                                        Yeah, that's right Spielberg. Show Clint Eastwood how to really make a film about a key figure in American history. Not that sh*tty J Edgar.
