Danny Woodburn has joined the cast of Ninja Turtles as Splinter. We reported last week that production is currently underway in New York.

Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo), Jeremy Howard (Donatello), and Noel Fisher (Michelangelo) star as the Turtles, with Megan Fox portraying the female lead. It has still not been confirmed if she is playing reporter April O'Neil, or a new character. Will Arnett also stars in an unspecified role. The Turtles' friend Casey Jones has not been cast at this time.

Jonathan Liebesman is directing from a screenplay by André Nemec, Josh Appelbaum, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway. Michael Bay is producing through his Platinum Dunes company.

Danny Woodburn most recently starred in Mirror Mirror, and has a recurring role on the Fox series Bones. He is most remembered for his role as Kramer's friend Mickey on Seinfeld.
