Today, Netflix released the Daredevil character image from Season 2 of the Netflix original series Daredevil via the show's social pages. You can see the image below, which arrives along with a very cool motion poster. As you can see, Matt Murdock is all tied up in chains. And if you listen closely, you can hear the sound of The Punisher cocking his gun. Daredevil Season 2 premieres globally on Netflix on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 12:01am PT with thirteen one-hour episodes.

Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell's Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame, Elektra Natchios. Bigger problems emerge for Matt when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt's neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.

Daredevil Season 1, which is now streaming, was about Matt Murdock's decision to become a hero and take on the role of Daredevil. Daredevil Season 2 revolves around the question, when does right become wrong? The show continues to explore the philosophical conflict at the core of Matt's double lives, now complicated by a vigilante rival, Frank Castle, who takes things too far.

In Daredevil, blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the superhero "Daredevil" in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil) is joined by a stellar ensemble cast. Joining the actor this season are Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle/The Punisher), Elodie Yung (Elektra), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple),  and Scott Glenn (Stick).

Daredevil is Executive Produced by series Co-Showrunners Marco Ramirez (Sons Of Anarchy, Fear The Walking Dead) and Douglas Petrie (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, American Horror Story). They are joined by Jeph Loeb (Marvel's Jessica Jones), who also serves as Marvel's Head of Television. For more information on Daredevil in the coming weeks, please visit stay tuned to our site.
