Yesterday, Netflix confirmed that Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil will be available to stream in its entirety on Friday, March 18, squashing a rumor that the season will debut a week later, March 25, putting it up against Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now that the premiere date has been confirmed, Marvel debuted a brand new poster for this highly-anticipated season, which could provide a big clue about a certain villain that may be appearing in upcoming episodes. The poster features a single playing card, which is a weapon often used in the comics by the iconic Bullseye.

Back in June, a rumor surfaced that Netflix was eyeing action star Jason Statham to play Bullseye. However, just one day after the news broke, negotiations between the actor and Marvel reportedly fell through. The studio never officially announced that Bullseye would be a part of this new season, but just a few days after the news that Jason Statham walked away from the series, the studio announced that Jon Bernthal has come aboard to play Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher.

Still, could this poster be the first clue that Bulleye is coming to Hell's Kitchen? It's possible, but there are other things to examine. For one, this poster is essentially a collage of moments from Season 1, and we don't see any of the new Season 2 characters like Punisher or Elektra (Elodie Yung). It's also worth noting that a King playing card was used on Matt Murdock's map of suspects, representing Wilson "Kingpin" Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio). There is also an iconic moment from the comic books, where Bullseye killed Elektra with a playing card and one of her own sai weapons, so it's possible that scenario may unfold this season.

Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the superhero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil) is joined by a stellar cast. The rest of this ensemble includes Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle), Elodie Yung (Elektra), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple) and Scott Glenn (Stick).

Back in November, a brief teaser was released for this new season, which hinted that Luke Cage (Mike Colter) may be taking over ownership of Josie's, a local Hell's Kitchen bar that Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson and Karen Page frequently attend. We got our first glimpse of Luke Cage in Marvel's Jessica Jones, but if he really did take over as the new owner of Josie's, we may be seeing more of Luke in Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil. While we wait for more details, take a look at this poster, and let us know if you think this could tease Bullseye's arrival.
