David Goyer and Lorenzo Di Bonaventura Team Up for ‘The Breach’

David S. Goyer will produce The Breach with Lorenzo di BonaventuraDavid S. Goyer and Lorenzo di Bonaventura will team up to produce an adaptation of Patrick Lee's novel The Breach.

Justin Rhodes will write the adapted screenplay, which will divert heavily from the novel. The story centers on an ex-cop caught in a race against time to stop an ancient artifact from bringing on the apocalypse. No details were given regarding how the adaptation may differ from the source material.

There is a possibility that David S. Goyer might direct, although nothing is set in stone yet. While David S. Goyer is best known as a screenwriter for tentpoles such as The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel, he has also directed thrillers such as The Unborn, The Invisible, and Blade: Trinity.

No production schedule has been given for this adaptation.

    ARTIFACALYPSE? Hummm.. Yes it does sound lame, but there is little to be told from this and Goyer is decent of a writer so I think we should wait and see first before amusing its gonna be dead-weight as oppose his other works
