David Leslie Johnson Heads to ‘The Colony’

Orphan screenwriter David Leslie Johnson has signed on to write The Colony for Participant Media and Vertigo Entertainment, according to Variety.

The thriller is based on a pitch by Stacy Title and Jonathan Penner. It is being described as The Birds with bugs.

Johnson has also signed on to adapt Lake Mungo for Vertigo.

No production date has been set.

The Colony was released September 20th, 2013.
