One of the biggest hits from Comic-Con this week was the full Deadpool trailer that played in front of a packed crowd in Hall H yesterday. As many expected, the footage leaked online later that day, but, unfortunately, 20th Century Fox has not released the official version for fans to see. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds took to his Twitter account earlier today, revealing that "something" will be ready for everyone to see in three weeks.

"As much as I want the #deadpool footage from #SDCC officially released, the VFX shots aren't done yet. We have something for you in 3 weeks."

There aren't any 20th Century Fox movies hitting theaters in three weeks, the weekend of July 31, but the studio is releasing their Fantastic Four reboot one week later, on August 7. What isn't known is if they will release the full, uncensored Deadpool trailer, which is chocked full of R-rated adult language that the SDCC crowed seemed to enjoy immensely. It's possible that the studio could release the red band trailer online in three weeks, and then put together an all-ages version to play in theaters attached to prints of Fantastic Four.

Ryan Reynolds stars as the title character, with Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Ed Skrein (Ajax), and Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead) rounding out the supporting cast of director Tim Miller's superhero adaptation. Are you excited to see the official version of this much-beloved footage? While we wait for an official trailer release date, check out Ryan Reynolds' tweets below, including a photo he took with the 20th Century Fox panel's surprise guest, the new Gambit himself, Channing Tatum.
