Dianne Wiest and Tammy Blanchard have jumped in the Rabbit Hole, signing on to star opposite Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart in the bigscreen adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire's Broadway play.

According to Variety, John Cameron Mitchell (Shortbus) is directing and Kidman is producing through her Fox-based Blossom Films banner with Olympus Pictures and Odd Lot Entertainment financing and producing.

Rabbit Hole highlights the struggle of a couple to cope with the unexpected death of their 4-year old son.
