If you've ever had to take your grandfather on spring break with you, then you can surely related to the upcoming Dirty Grandpa. Lionsgate, via Buzzfeed, has released the first trailer and poster for this outrageous comedy, starring Zac Efron as a young man who gets talked into a road trip pilgrimage with his grandfather, played by Robert De Niro. As you can see in the video below, and as you can likely surmise from the title alone, Robert De Niro's Dick Kelly is not your average grandfather.

Jason Kelly (Zac Efron) is one week away from marrying his boss' uber-controlling daughter (Julianne Hough), putting him on the fast track for a partnership at the law firm. However, when the straight-laced Jason is tricked into driving his foul-mouthed grandfather, Dick (Robert De Niro), to Daytona for spring break, his pending nuptials are suddenly in jeopardy. Between riotous frat parties, bar fights, and an epic night of karaoke, Dick is on a quest to live his life to the fullest and bring Jason along for the ride.

Ultimately, on the wildest journey of their lives, "dirty" Grandpa and his uptight grandson discover they can learn from one another and form the bond they never had. This outlandish comedy also stars Zoey Deutch, Aubrey Plaza, Dermot Mulroney, Jason Mantzoukas, Henry Zebrowski and Adam Pally. Lionsgate has also released the first poster, which puts an unusual twist on the iconic one-sheet from the 1967 classic The Graduate.

Dirty Grandpa is set to hit theaters on January 22, 2016, going up against STX Entertainment's The Boy, which stars Lauren Cohan and Rupert Evans. While the comedy doesn't face heavy competition in its opening weekend, it is sandwiched between two jam-packed weekends at the box office. 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, The 5th Wave, Ride Along 2 and The Nut Job 2 open on January 15, 2016, with The Finest Hours, Kung Fu Panda 3 and Lights Out opening on January 29, 2016.

Along with the new trailer and poster, we also have a photo featuring Zac Efron and Robert De Niro descending upon spring break in their pink convertible. Dan Mazer (I Give It a Year) directs this comedy from a script by John Phillips, who makes his screenwriting debut.
