Walt Disney Pictures has announced the follow-up to Andrew Adamson's blockbuster "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" has changed its original release date of Christmas 2007 to the Summer of 2008.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney rescheduled the sequel to The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe just hours after Columbia Pictures made their announcement of releasing their fantasy fable, The Water Horse on December 8, 2007 - one week before the scheduled release of Prince Caspian. Both films are coincidentally being produced by Walden Media.

Production is going on as planned for the two films; Prince Caspian will begin in October of this year, The Water Horse starts production later this month.
