Disney and Imagemovers have hired Ice Age: Continental Drift writer Jason Fuchs to pen their upcoming sci-fi tale The Magic Catalogue.

The science fiction adventure follows a teen who accidentally finds a stockpile of technologically advanced weapons. The story is based on a original idea from story artist Chris Appelhan.

Imagemovers' Robert Zemeckis is producing with Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey. Robert Zemeckis most recently directed the upcoming drama Flight starring Denzel Washington, which hits theaters November 2nd.
