‘Django Unchained’ Gets James Remar and Tom Wopat

James Russo and Todd Allen also sign on for Quentin Tarantino's revenge Western starring Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio.

James Remar joins the cast of Django Unchained Veteran actors James Remar, Tom Wopat, James Russo, and Todd Allen have joined Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.

James Remar will play Ace Speck, a slave trader who acquires Django (Jamie Foxx) at an auction. Tom Wopat will portray Marshall Gil Tatum, and Todd Allen is set to play Dollar Bill, who oversees the plantation. It isn't known who James Russo will play.

Quentin Tarantino is directing Django Unchained from his own screenplay, which centers on Jamie Foxx's Django, a freed slave who is trained to become a bounty hunter by Christoph Waltz's character.

It isn't known when production will begin on Django Unchained, although with the cast coming together so quickly, shooting will likely begin sooner rather than later.

Django Unchained was released December 25th, 2012.
