One of the few things we did know about the Marvel Comic-Con panel in Hall H before it happened was that Doctor Strange would be part of the festivities, thanks to some tweets from director Scott Derrickson. Since it will be the next Marvel movie to hit theaters, arriving on November 6, the news wasn't particularly shocking, with most fans expecting the second trailer to arrive during the panel. Thankfully, Marvel delivered everything the fans expected with this new trailer, and now that fans have seen this footage, the studio has provided us with new video interviews with the cast and director Scott Derrickson.

Marvel has also provided us with a video with panel highlights for the Doctor Strange portion of this epic Hall H panel, along with video interviews with stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Stephen Strange), Benedict Wong (Wong), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Baron Mordo), Mads Mikkelsen (Kaecilius) and director Scott Derrickson. The trailer was received quite well from fans both inside the Hall H panel and beyond, since the trailer was the only piece of footage Marvel officially released online last night. It remains to be seen when the rest of the footage will debut, but at least we have a new Doctor Strange trailer to dissect until then.

Marvel Studios brought several of their upcoming movies to San Diego Comic-Con this year but there is no doubt that much of the focus of the studio's panel on Saturday at SDCC was on Doctor Strange. Even though the movie has some massive star power behind hit, he is a brand new character, and a very different one at that. Even many hardcore comic book fans only have a passing knowledge of the character, so Marvel Studios is definitely going to want to sell the larger audience on the premise and the character, who it seems will be a big part of the MCU moving forward. And this trailer should definitely help sell some who may not have been convinced.

Marvel's Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City's Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

Doctor Strange boasts an incredible cast, which includes Michael Stuhlbarg (Nicodemus West), Amy Landecker and Scott Adkins, along with the previously-mentioned stars who made the trek to Comic-Con. This superhero adaptation will explore the mystical side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which hasn't been seen before, with these powerful characters with supernatural abilities that may be of use in the massive battle ahead in Avengers: Infinity War. Take a look at the interviews with the cast along with the panel highlights below.
