The Sorcerer Supreme is finally coming to the big screen in just a few weeks, when Doctor Strange opens in theaters nationwide on November 4. To get fans ready for this superhero adventure, a new TV spot has arrived, featuring The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) explaining this new world to Benedict Cumberbatch's Stephen Strange, as she shows him how to open the Eye of Agamotto. While we'll have to wait a few weeks to see how it fares at the box office, Doctor Strange has already been tracking quite strongly.

We reported last weekend that box office analysts are predicting an opening weekend between $55 million and $75 million. As of now, the lowest opening weekend is 2008's The Incredible Hulk, which earned $55 million, just months after Iron Man kicked off Marvel Phase 1 eight years ago. As we get closer to the November 4 release date, those numbers may be adjusted, but we won't know for sure how the movie fares until it opens. Regardless of its box office success, this new TV spot, which debuted on YouTube, teases that this movie will give fans a glimpse at the mystical side of the MCU.

This TV spot also features Rachel McAdams's Christine Palmer, who Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed will not turn into the Night Nurse, despite plenty of speculation to the contrary. In the Marvel Comics, Christine Palmer was the third character to become Night Nurse, but on the TV side, Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple has essentially become the Night Nurse in Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. We'll have to wait and see if Christine Palmer will eventually take over the Night Nurse mantle in the future.

From Marvel Studios comes Doctor Strange, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place-a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange-armed with newly acquired magical powers-is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.

Doctor Strange also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt and Scott Adkins, with Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton. Scott Derrickson is directing from a script by Jon Spaihts and Scott Derrickson & C. Robert Cargill, with Kevin Feige producing. Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange opens in U.S. theaters on November 4, 2016, going up against Lionsgate's Hacksaw Ridge and DreamWorks Animation's Trolls.
