Last week, we reported that Harrison Ford will be out for eight weeks after suffering an injury on the Star Wars: Episode VII set. According to British tabloid The Sun, this slight production hiccup has paved the way for a possible cameo appearance by Tom Cruise.

Here's what the unidentified insider had to say.

"Tom [Cruise] has been in London for over a week and met up with J.J. [Abrams] and some other people from Star Wars over the weekend. On Saturday evening five of them met up for dinner and drinks at the Belgravia Hotel. J.J. produced Mission: Impossible 5 and loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance. Losing Harrison Ford [to a broken leg] is going to set things back a little scheduling wise and there's some time to play around with."

However, ET Canada reached out to a spokesperson for Tom Cruise, who revealed there is "no truth" to the report.

J.J. Abrams made his feature directorial debut with Mission: Impossible III, starring Tom Cruise, and he also served as producer for Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol and the upcoming Mission: Impossible 5.
