‘Doggie B’ Trailer!

A DJing Boxer! A doggie dance championship. B-Boy Hounds! And a goddamn Maltese wearing a Cuban Fedora like he was going to a Reel Big Fish concert circa 1997. Doggie B has the earmarks of a classic in the making! Don't believe me? Just check out the trailer, poster, and nine photos from this must-see, can't miss, gotta-have-it-now extravaganza of fast and furious furry feet! (Thanks to our very own @The Joker for turning us onto this one! He obviously loves to do the Doggie Boogie!)

Doggie B poster

When aspiring vet Cassie finds out that her Uncle Peter's dog dancing studio is in danger of closing, she enters her devoted pup Pijo in the Dog Dancing Championships. Standing between the grand prize and the glory is ten-time champion Gertrude and her dancing canine Chaos, who will stop at nothing to win. With the help of family and friends, Cassie and Pijo lace up all six dancing shoes, raise the woof, and take on the competition tail on.

Doggie B was released August 31st, 2012.

    Doggie B throws a big bone to the Wizard of Oz. It held up well to a second viewing for me and my daughter absolutely loves this movie. Take your kid for sure but lots of adults in the audience were really into it and they didn't all have children with them. A great must see family film and I loved all the San Francisco locations, very creative stand-in for the Emerald City. Best tribute to the Wizard of Oz yet and certainly the first Wizard of Oz for dogs, Toto would be proud. Can understand why Doggie B won the audience award out of 70 features at Sonoma and now Landmark is showing it here in San Francisco and some other cities.

        @mcleve02 -- Besides the shout-out(?), I didn't see a disagreement, ha.

          @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx haha that's fine! We are not always going to agree on everything! Besides, over all we both have pretty good taste anyways!

            After viewing this trailer, I completely lost it - freakin' hilarious!

            @mcleve02 -- I'm sorry, but I'm loving the shout-out, Alan. I'd be flattered if I got mentioned, even if it were for a terrible, family movie.

                The actors need the money, they don't care if the movie is trash.

                          I'm not even going to look at the trailer... but from the pics it looks like a 90s Disney Channel Movie gone wrong.

                                Please stop .. So it is easy to make a crazy movie and get away with it. Man i wish I had a super 8 camera and some editing software and a Hollywood studio, etc, etc etc
