Actor Dominic Cooper is in talks to star in Motor City for Warner Bros. and director Albert Hughes.

The story centers on an ex-con who tracks down the men who framed him. We reported back in August that Captain America: The First Avenger star Chris Evans was offered the lead role, but it seems a deal was never made.

Albert Hughes is directing Motor City from a screenplay by Chad St. John, which made the coveted Black List in 2009. Joel Silver and Andrew Rona are producing for their Silver Pictures banner. Insiders claim that Joel Silver was so impressed with Dominic Cooper's performance in The Devil's Double, that he reached out to the actor for Motor City.

No production schedule was released for Motor City.
